Roundtable Sponsorships now include admission to the event

 

In November we announced a major change in CSCMP sponsorship policy. It had been forbidden that any participating member or their employer sponsor the monthly roundtable events as CSCMP had been the premier educational organization for supply chain professionals. As you know, this is no longer the case and it is a huge opportunity for companies and their CSCMP members to raise their profile in the industry at very low cost. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to raise the profile of your company while supporting our industry’s top educational organization. We have received calls from potential sponsors about whether the sponsorship includes admission to the event. The answer is yes. If your company is a sponsor, you will receive one free admission to the monthly round table event and if you bring an additional five members from your company, the admission fee will be 25% off for each of them. 

 

What are the advantages of sponsorship? Your firm will enjoy increased recognition in the transportation and supply chain community. Exposure to suppliers, customers, potential employees, and industry officials will be achieved at very low (tax deductable) costs. You will also be supporting the premier non-profit organization for logistics education.

 

A great marketing investment at very low cost. In this economy, everyone is reducing their spend. With advertising costs at over $5,000 per page in logistics trade journals and exhibitions at trade shows usually costing over $12,000 (plus travel), this is a very efficient way for you to raise your company’s profile in the supply chain marketplace!

 

What companies are eligible to sponsor a roundtable event? Any provider, supplier, manufacturer, services, or consulting organization that has at least one employee who is a member of CSCMP. The sponsoring firm cannot have an employee who is a member of the executive committee of the CSCMP roundtable (president, treasurer, immediate past president). 

 

How do I select the meeting I wish to sponsor? Simply go to socalcscmp.org and click on “events.” You can see the topics, dates, and venue of our future events and decide which may be relevant or most interesting to your company. When you decide which meetings you wish to sponsor, contact Jerry Levy on the Socal CSCMP board at 949/510-9662 and he will reserve your sponsorship meeting.

 

How much does it cost? $250 per event

 

What does sponsorship include? The Southern California CSCMP will display the sponsor’s logo for the duration of the event and when the president welcomes the attendees, the sponsors will be acknowledged and thanked. Sponsors have the option of handing out giveaways such as pens or other very low cost items at the registration desk. The sponsor’s name will be posted on the web site and in all the meeting announcements that are sent to the entire membership in Southern California.  There can be no more than two sponsors for any event so it is very important you reserve a sponsorship as soon as possible.
